Girls AA

All the teams will participate in a unique High-Performance Weekend to kick off the season. In addition to all the components of a routine High-Performance Weekend, this is an opportunity to meet the coaching staff and other Jr. Predators families. It is a great chance to get all your Jr. Predators team apparel for the season. There will be a program-wide meeting on Saturday night with speakers and maybe even a special guest.

Parallel weekday practices will be provided in each local supporting association (on-ice & off-ice); combined age groups; heavy focus on skill development; follow the skill progression of the USA Hockey ADM Program.

Training camp style experience; at least one weekend per month; hosted by local supporting association. Content: 4-5 hours on-ice practice, off-ice training, classroom style instruction, video analysis, team building, cross-over instruction from entire coaching staff. These weekends help maintain a high practice-game.

All selected players will participate in training camp in August to prepare for the season. Camp highlights include positional clinics, team building, on-ice training, off-ice training, classroom instruction, and video sessions.

Weekly player development sessions are designed and led by Coach Delaney Collins. The objective of our PD is to focus on a range of skills and to help players connect those skills to game applicable situations. Athletes will work on the ice to combine multiple tasks and skills while being provided game situation video off the ice to see how the sills apply at full speed, under pressure, and in traffic.

The Nashville Jr Predators Hockey Club is a full member in the National Girls Hockey League. This league features super showcase weekends featuring the best competition in the country. The purpose of the showcase series setup is twofold: to create a positive, organized, inclusive atmosphere and secondly to provide exposure and top competition across the country.

The National Girls Hockey League provides the opportunity to compete in five showcases over the course of the season culminating with the league championship in February. All showcases are scheduled at top venues supporting girls, women’s and NHL hockey homes as well as desirable scouting locations for maximum exposure to college scouts.
